The UniBoard project is a Joint Research Activity in the FP7 RadioNet proposal to the EC. It aims to develop a generic digital board that combines unprecedented computing power and I/O capacity. This board will intrinsically be a multi-purpose instrument, reprogrammable for a wide variety of radio-astronomical applications, as well as be useable as a building block for larger systems.
