Eligibility for RadioNet support and extent of funding available
Please note that under the terms of FP6 funding we can only offer accomodation support to students working or studying in the following countries:
EU: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom
Associated States: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Iceland, Israel, Lichtenstein, Norway and Switzerland
If you are from one of these countries, we can offer the cost of accomodation at the Chandos B&B (if you require it; if your institute will pay, this will allow more funds for other students). We will book this for you once your application has been accepted. Normally this will be for the duration of the school (5 nights, arriving 4 September, depart 9 September) but if it is necessary for you to stay an extra night in order to get a cheap fare please indicate your exact arrival and departure days and the reason if this is for more than 5 nights.
Registration, lunch, breakfast and the conference dinner are free but you need to find your own funding for travel and additional expenses(e.g. from your home institute, or your National Academy of Sciences or IAU affiliate, or possibly the British Council in your country).
If you want to apply for funding please do so at once as we are near the limit of available support (15 May 2005).
