Within the ALBUS project, several work packages are envisaged to need parallelization of the software. The goal of this work package is to evaluate the different parallelization pathways.
Who and Where
This work package is worked on at ASTRON, Dwingeloo, The Netherlands. The persons involved and their tasks are:
- Garrelt Mellema (project manager, parallelization
- John Romein (parallelization, optimization)
- Tom Oosterloo (radio interferometry software)
- Adriaan Renting (higher software layer)
Reports
- Intermediate report on enhancing the performance of Miriad and the paths
to parallelization: Report_01072004.pdf
Final report on Evaluation of Parallelization: Final_Report.pdf
- Supporting documents for the final report:
WSRT Observing modes (only available in draft version): standardWSRTModes.pdf
Report on Use of GRID: Grid_Report.pdf
