On this page you can find the most frequently asked questions about the RadioNet wiki.
Q. I cannot read certain pages of the Wiki
A. The RadioNet Wiki has security functionality. Some parts are hidden for the public eye and you need an account to see it.
Q. Account? I don't have one. How do I create one?
A. Account creation looks difficult but is quite easy. Follow the instructions after clicking the login link on top of the page. Your user name should be in the format: FirstnameLastname (note that each name starts with a capital and that there is no white space between the names) and a password of your own choice.
Q. I have an account now but I still can not access certain pages.
This can be divided in two cases
- You should be allowed to see the page. If so send the corresponding JRA/NA leader an email and he will add you to the group that has access to those pages. If you are a member of the board.
- You are just not allowed to see the pages.
Q. I had an account but lost my password, what do I do.
A. At the page where you create an account or log in there is also a button to retrieve account information.
An email will sent to you with an internet address. When you go to that address you will be in the wiki logged in. Go to your account information to change your password. In the fields you see in the figure below. Press the save button at the bottom of the page to store it. The figure is from an old version of the wiki, but the idea is still the same.
Q. Half of the site is in English and the other half is in my native language. I want it all to be English
A. By default, the wiki inherits your operating system language settings. You can change it to English or any other language in the UserPreferences. See the picture below
Q. I want to know more about this Wiki. Where can I find more information about it?
A. A document is written especially for this Wiki: Wiki Instructions
