  • EUROPEAN RADIO INTERFEROMETRY SCHOOL

5-9 September 2005, Manchester, UK

We are pleased to announce that the University of Manchester/Jodrell Bank Observatory will host the European Radio Interferometry School, in the period 5 - 9 September 2005. The event is sponsored by the EU RadioNet Consortium within the Sixth Framework Programme of the European Commission.

At this stage we invite interested participants to register and submit the financial support form if they plan to ask for a contribution.

REGISTRATION

Please note that we have already had enough expressions of interest to fill more than half the places so don't wait until the deadline. People who responded to the earlier announcement are also required to formally register if they wish to attend.

The DEADLINE for registration is JULY 1st 2005. Note, however, that due to space and computing constraints, the school may host at most 70 - 80 participants, and the registration will be closed when the maximum number of participants is reached. Anyone applying after we are full will be placed on a waiting list in case of withdrawals. Please consult the web site, where such information will be updated. No registration fee is required.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

A limited amount of support is available for participants. The cost of basic accomodation can be met for a limited number of participants. Priority will be given to students, in the order in which applications are received. If you intend to ask for financial support please send the following information to eris@jb.man.ac.uk:

The DEADLINE for the financial support request is JUNE 15th 2005.

If you want financial support please apply and register as soon as possible. We will inform you of the outcome of financial support applications before 1 July.
