SYNERGY Activities
The Synergy Group will hold its fourth meeting on 10-11 April at IRA in Bologna. The activities will be 1) a final evaluation of the User Support Standards at RadioNet Observatories, 2) an evaluation of the procedures for technical personnel exchanges and the information obtained from the Technical Expertise questionaire submited to the RadioNet partners.

NorthStar Proposal Tool
The NorthStar Web-based Proposal Tool has been developed by Synergy in collaboration with ASTRON. The Tool has been successfully tested and used in 2004 for WSRT, ING, and JCMT proposal submission. Implementations of the tool for MERLIN and IRA are being prepared during Q1 2006 and also the EVN and MPIfR will get implementation in Q2. A special Wiki section has been made: CommonProposalTool. That section is viewable for members present at the meeting: CptUsersGroup and of course all members of SynergyUsersGroup.
How to participate in this Wiki
This is a quite simple procedure. Everybody can edit Wiki pages with quite low effort and everybody is invited to do so. Of course not all Wiki pages are editable for everyone. But the one which are should be used intensively. Alastair Gunn (agg@jb.man.ac.uk) has written brief and very useful Wiki Instructions to use and edit RadioNet Wiki. These pages will be maintained by the SynergyUsersGroup. If you are part of the Synergy group it is strongly encouraged to create an account. After you have created one, email smit@astron.nl and you will be added to SynergyUsersGroup as soon as possible,
